Canada goes for red, gold and whitechinoiserie - go to cbc.ca for more pics.Gold, silver and bronze are the only colours that matter in the Olympics unless you're me.
Today, I joined On The Coast's host, Stephen Quinn, in studio to talk about Olympic fashion and about which country gets the high score when it comes to high style.
Listen.
I thought Spain did very well with their red suits and matching shoes. I also thought the French were particularly well-dressed, with their seersucker jackets and tennis shoes. Canada, unfortunately, was one of the worst dressed ones out there. The printed graphics did not look good, which is a shame, as the Canadian colours - red and white - lends itself nicely to the possibility of a very sharply dressed athelete. Red blazers and white pants with white polos would have been phenomenal. Oh well, here's hoping HBC does better with 2010.
